Jakarta, December 31, 2024 – In anticipation of potential security risks during the 2024 Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holiday season and as part of its active participation in community safety programs, Jakarta Garden City’s Town Management Division (TMD) has collaborated with relevant agencies to ensure public order and safety in Cakung District, East Jakarta. A joint readiness drill was held within the Jakarta Garden City township as part of this initiative.
Led by Yandi Ramayadi, Township Management Head of Jakarta Garden City, the drill involved all parties concerned with the security of the 2024 Christmas and New Year celebrations. The aim was to prepare for any unforeseen incidents that might occur in the Cakung area. In addition to the joint readiness drill, JGC has also stepped up security patrols, particularly in public areas such as parks, shopping centers, schools, commercial districts, and residential neighborhoods.
In his address, Yandi Ramayadi emphasized the importance of preparedness and vigilance against potential threats, no matter how small, to ensure a safe and peaceful Nataru holiday. “We hope that the community can enjoy this holiday season smoothly and under control,” Yandi Ramayadi concluded.
